My Role
Lead Interactive Designer

Journey of Cash is one of several digital and physical interactives created for The Vault, a permanent exhibition at the Economy Museum inside the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, designed to make foundational concepts in money, banking, and financial security accessible and engaging for diverse audiences, especially students and school groups.

Within this context, Journey of Cash invites visitors to turn a large wheel to experience the lifecycle of U.S. currency. From printing and circulation to retirement, the interactive transforms an abstract process into an engaging learning experience.

As visitors rotate a large embedded wheel styled as a dollar bill, synchronized animations and documentary footage on surrounding screens are triggered. This tactile motion drives a clear narrative about how money moves through the economy, combining physical interaction with responsive media to create a kinetic and memorable experience.

By blending storytelling, multimodal content, and inclusive design, Journey of Cash translates a complex financial system into an accessible and engaging interactive that supports diverse learning styles and leaves a lasting impression.
