My Role

As part of the Heaven Hill Brand Gallery, The Magical Warehouse Ledger brings to life the mythology of John E. Fitzgerald, the semi-fictional treasury agent behind Larceny Bourbon. Set in a richly detailed 19th-century office environment, the installation layers storytelling with responsive media to immerse visitors in Fitzgerald’s world.
At the center of the experience, a glowing “magical ledger” invites visitors to tap embedded 3D objects, revealing hidden clues about Fitzgerald’s double life through visual effects, ambient audio, and interpretive content. Reactive props, flickering bottles, and animated artifacts extend the sense of discovery, creating a playful yet atmospheric brand experience.
As Lead Interactive Designer, I guided the concept, design, and installation of the piece, collaborating with exhibit designers, content specialists, and technologists. To ensure authenticity, I worked with engineers and media teams to integrate projection technology onto a glass surface molded into the form of an open ledger. The project required balancing technical constraints with creative vision to create a seamless, responsive experience.
The result was an installation that drew visitors into Larceny’s narrative, transforming brand history into an immersive, multi-sensory adventure.
